The short version
cybersoftware uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your data. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. A few features, like staying signed in, may not work correctly if you do. This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between page loads and visits, for example that you are signed in. "Similar technologies" means things like localStorage and pixels that do the same job. We use the word "cookies" below to cover all of them.
The cookies we use
We group them by what they are for:
- Strictly necessary (sign-in and security). These keep you authenticated and protect your session, for instance the token that remembers you are logged in and the session cookie used to refresh it securely. The site cannot function without these, so they are always on.
- Preferences. These remember choices you make, such as where you are in the intake flow or interface settings, so you do not have to set them again on every visit.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, in aggregate. This tells us what is working and what to fix. Analytics data is aggregate and is not used to build advertising profiles about you.
Third-party services that set cookies
A few trusted providers that power the site may set their own cookies when you use the relevant feature:
- Google Analytics. Aggregate, privacy-conscious website usage measurement.
- Stripe. Payment processing and fraud prevention on checkout pages.
- HubSpot. Receives what you send through the contact form, so we can respond to inbound requests. The form itself is ours, so HubSpot does not set a cookie in your browser on this site.
These providers act as our processors for the features above and are bound to protect your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of who we share data with and why.
What we do not do
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, we do not run third-party ad networks on this site, and we do not sell your personal information as laws like GDPR or CCPA define it. We collect what we need to run the service and understand what is working. Nothing extra.
Managing and blocking cookies
You are in control. Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data." You can also browse in a private/incognito window, which clears cookies when you close it. If you block cookies, some features may not work correctly, most notably staying signed in.
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's browser opt-out add-on, which stops Analytics from measuring your visits across all sites that use it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product, our providers, or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.

Plain-English footnote: cookies here do two honest jobs. They keep you logged in, and they tell us in aggregate which pages people actually use. No ad tracking, no data sales. Block them whenever you like; the only thing you might lose is staying signed in.
